Abstract「要旨」われわれはシンチグラム上の集積を定量的に扱うことを検討し, 病巣と軟組織に含まれる放射能比(67Ga集積比)を求め定量化する方法を研究した. この方法は, 生体内に分布する67Gaと計数率との関係を理論的に解析して得た理論式を用いることにより, 従来の方法ではほとんど考慮されていなかった骨組織による吸収という影響を取り除いている. したがって, 頭頸部領域など骨組織の影響が考えられる部位でも定量化できるという特徴を有する. この定量化の方法の妥当性を調べるために, 理論式から求めた67Ga集積比(理論値)と, 実際に動物の組織等を摘出し放射能を測定して得た67Ga集積比(実測値)を比較した. その結果, 両者の差は最大でも10%程度の違いであった. 理論値は実測値を示すものと考えられ, 臨床利用が可能と思われた.

Abstract[Summary] We have studied quantification of Ga-67 uptake on scintigram, and had investigated the method to calculate ratio of amount of radioactivity in lesion to that in soft tissue (Ga-67 accumulation ratio). Using theoretical equation obtained by theoretical analysis of relationship between count rates and distribution of Ga-67 in body, the method of quantification is removed the effect of absorption in bony tissue which has not been investigated so far. The method has the characteristic that it is possible to quantify in this region present the effect of bone, as head and neck region. In order to confirm the method of quantification, theoretical values are compared with observed ones. Theoretical values are calculated with theoretical equation, and observed ones are obtained by measuring absolute amount of radioactivity. The difference is about 10% at the most. There is little to choose between them. This method of quantification is demonstrated.
