Abstract | 「要旨」神経芽細胞腫の疑われた9症例に123I-metaiodobenzyl-guanidine(123I-MIBG)シンチグラフィを施行した. 腫瘍を有する4症例で陽性像が得られ, 腫瘍を有さない5症例で陰性であった. さらに, 化学療法で縮小した腫瘍は残存しているが腫瘍マーカー(neuron specific enolase)の陰性化した症例でも陽性像が得られ, 化学療法の効果判定にも使用できる可能性が示された. 123I-MIBGシンチグラフィは, 神経芽細胞腫の診断および経過観察に有用と考えられた. 「I. はじめに」神経芽細胞腫は, 小児悪性新生物の中では白血病に次いで多く, 腹部固形腫瘍では最も多い. その正確な診断は近年この疾患にマススクリーニングが用いられるようになり重要性が増してきた. 131I-metaiodobenzyl-guanidine(MIBG)が褐色細胞腫, 神経芽細胞腫等の疾患に集積し, その有用性が報告されてきた. |

Abstract | [Summary] 123I-meta-iodobenzylguanidine (123I-MIBG) scintigraphy was performed in 9 patients who were suspected to have a neuroblastoma. Positive images were obtained in 4 patients who had a neuroblastoma. Negative images were obtained in 5 patients who did not have a neuroblastoma. 123I-MIBG scan revealed an active tumor in a patient who had received intensive chemotherapy for the recurrence of neuroblastoma with returning of all tumor markers including neuron specific enolase to normal range. This indicated that 123I-MIBG scan can be used to assess the effect of therapy. |
