Abstract | The 21st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine was held from 15 to 17 of October 1981 at Sapporo city, located about 1,000 km northeast of Tokyo. More than 1,500 members and 6 invited speakers from abroad were attended, and 459 proffered papers were enrolled. Scientific papers were presented in 6 halls of Sapporo Kyoiku-Bunka Kaikan. Technical exhibition was held at the Teisen Hall some 1 km apart from the site of scientific meeting. Among scientific papers, nuclear cardiology and nuclear oncology were hot subjects. Baby cyclotron was a highlight of the technical exhibition. Owing to the good and thoughtful cooperations of our members, guests and all other participants, the meeting was said to be very successful. I would like to extend my appreciation on this matter to all who concerned. The 22nd Meeting is scheduled at Tokyo, headed by Dr. Fumio Kinoshita, from 17 to 19 Nov. 1982. |
