Abstract癌親和性核種として, 32P-phosphate, 32P-pyrophosphate, 67Ga-citrateなどを用い, カテーテル型半導体放射線検出器 (CASRAD) によるinvi-vo測定の立場から, 胃癌の診断を行う方法についてはすでに報告した. また, 胃以外の臓器すなわち食道, 子宮, 頭頸部の腫瘍についての報告もある. さらに, 未報告ではあるが, 著者らは99mTc-Bleomycin, 99mTc-Tetracyclineによる実験的検討も行っている. 一般に胃癌の診断に利用される核種はβ線またはγ線放出核種に属し, 測定はin vivoで行われる. また, 測定に使用される検出器は球形に近い等感度曲線を有する. このため, 検出器受感面の被検組織への密着性, 組織の厚さ, さらには隣接する臓器からの放射線によるbackgroundの増加などにより, 計数率に誤差を生じさせる危険性がある. このような影響を明確にし, in vivoでの測定精度を向上させるため, 検出器にコリメータを装着し, その有無による測定結果の比較, 組織の厚さと計数率の関係, β線, γ線について隣接する臓器からの影響に関する実験的検討を行った,

Abstract[Summary]Diagnostic usefulness of 32P-phosphate for the human gastric cancer using catheter-type semiconductor radiation detector (CASRAD) combined with gastrofiberscope tachnique has been already reported by us. We have further used 99mTc-Bleomycin, 99mTc-Tetracycline in the diagnosis of the experimental rabbit gastric cancer, too. In the present study, further refinement of the technique for the β-ray labeled substance (32P-phosphate) for detection of the gastric cancer was compared with that of γ-ray labeled substance (99mTc-Tetracycline). The conclusion was as follows. 1) The more correct diagnosis for the gastric cancer by in vivo measurement of beta activity could be obtained, when the collimater made by stainless steel is attached to the top of detector. By this way contribution of the count from the adjacent tissues or organs could be eliminated. 2) The effective and useful collimater for the γ-ray labeled substance could not be produced, which is able to be used in vivo safely. Because of the unsatifactory collimater, radioactivities of the adjacent organs caused increase in the radioactivities of the background. Therefore inspite of the recent intrcductions of various 99mTc-tumor agents, these labels were still not able to be applicable on the CASRAD method. For such small detector system, β-labels, represented by 32P-phosphate, was still prefererable to γ-labels.
