| Abstract | 「はじめに」1957年, Hamosklyは131I-tuiodothyronine (T3) 赤血球摂取率を報告し, in vitroの甲状腺機能検査法として有用であることを示した. 今日, T3摂取試験として総称される検査法の始まりである. その後, 洗滌操作やヘマトクリット値の補正等を要する赤血球に変り各種の形態のレジンや, charcoal, Sephadex等を用いる方法が報告されている. わが国ではこのうちレジン・スポンジを用いた131I-T3レジン・スポンジ摂取率 (RSU) が広く普及している. 最近, レジン・スポンジの代りにレジン・ストリップを用いたTBC Indexが使用されるようになった. 私たちもこれを甲状腺疾患のスクリーニング試験として用い, その正常値について検討したのでここに報告する. 「検査方法および対象」検査に使用したkitは検定日より1週間以内に使用した. |

| Abstract | [Summary] Thyroid function tests with TBC Index using 131I-triiodothyronine were performed for various thyroid disorders and the normal value of TBC Index was determined. The value of TBC Index for 100 cases with non-thyroidal disorders is 0.85〜1.19, or 1.00+-0.08 (mean+-one standard deviation) , for 54 cases with hyperthyroidism 0.48〜0.94 or 0.71+-0.09 for 10 cases with hypothyroidism 1.15〜1.48 or 1.27+-0.12, for 31 cases with non-toxic diffuse goiter 0.72〜1.18 or 1.00+-0.10, for 24 cases with non-toxic nodular goiter 0.82〜1.35 or 0.99+-0.13, and for 6 cases with chronic thyroiditis their mean value value is 1.13, and 4 cases with thyroid cancr, it is 0.96. A screening level to diffirenciate the cases with normal thyroid function from these with hyperthyroid or hypothyroid was determined and 0.86〜1.14 is considered to be most suitble for the normal value of TBC Index. |
