Abstract「緒言」 113Sn- 113mInゼネレーターより, ミルキングによってえられる, 113mInは, スキャニング用放射性同位元素として数々の秀れた性質をもっている. 就中, 親核種である113Snの半減期が118日と長いので, 1基のゼネレーターで長期間の使用が可能であることは, ほぼ似たような目的で使用される99Mo- 99mTcゼネレーターに較らべて有利な点である. また, ゼネレーターの113mInの回復が早いので, 適当な大きさのCi数をもつゼネレーターを用いれば, 1日に2回以上のミルキングが可能であることも使用者にとって便利である. このような秀れた性質をもつにもかかわらず, 私共が113mInの臨床応用に際して感じた最大の欠点は, ミルキングによってえられる溶出液をそのまま使用することができず, 使用者が各自で, 使用の度毎に目的とする臓器スキャン用の113mInを化学的操作によって作成しなけれぼならないことであった.

Abstract[Summary] The use of In-113m has been recently increasing for organ scanning because of its favourable characters. Labelled compounds have to be prepared right before clinical use. In-113m labelled compounds for blood pool scan and liver scan have been prepared in the same manner, only difference was PH of the final solution. Many papers described that PH value of In-113m solution to be use for this purpose must be adjusted strictly. This is a troublesome work for user. If the rough adjustment of PH value within certain range is permitted, PH measurment and autoclaving of the solution will be omittted by using steril generator and reagent. We studied exrerimentally the effects of PH on In-113m distribution in the mice, in order to make it clear how precisely PH should be adjusted. Method: Twenty groups of white mice were used. Each group was consisted of 5 mice, 0.5ml of In-113m solution was injected into the lateral tail vein. Liver, lung, heart, kidney and spleen were removed at one hour after injection. Activity of In-113m to each organ was measured by scintillation counter. The method of preparation of In-113m was as follows. In-113m was eluted with 5 ml of 0.04N hydrochloric acid, then added 0.6ml of 10% Na Cl and 1ml of 10% gelatin. The final PH of this solution was adjusted with 2% and 0.1% NaOH to be the preselected values within PH 2.5-11.5. Results 1. Activity of In-113m in blood was high in PH 3.5 +-1.0 both with and without heating. Therefore, blood pool scanning can be done sufficiently with In-113m solution in this range of PH value. 2. The liver concentration reached approximately 78% in PH 10.5 without heating and over 70% in the range of PH 10.5+-0.5. And with heating the liver concentration of In-113m was approximately 80% in PH 8.5-9.5 and over 70% in the range of PH 9.5+-1.0. Incubation made higher the liver concentration. But liver scanning can be done sufficiently with In-113m adjusted PH 10.5+-0.5 without heating. 3. It was found that In-113m for blood pool scan and liver scan did not necessarily require strict adjustment of PH. In the preraration of In-113m for this purpose, therfore, PH measurement and autoclaving can be omitted by using steril generator and sterilized reagent.
